If you ask anyone my age there is a good chance that they will tell you that music of the 1960s and especially the 1970s is undeniably the best music ever written ! There is however one exception and that has to be 1990s country music .This music was totally different from todays country mainly because it had something special going for it.
It was brofher type of feeling or sense of atmosphere that was written into the songsnot to mention the amazing talent that seem to appear all at once. One of favorite artists from the 90s country era was and is Mark Chesnutt. He contributed songs that were great the very first time I heard them. Here are a few of his best songs .When I first got the idea to write about the 90s country music era gideo, I was thinking of putting it all nrother in one post.
I soon realized that there was way too much great country music from that small stretch of time. Ill have to continue writing about the rest of these great artists in a few more posts. So stay tuned! Page 1 of 1 Brothrr over Page 1 of 1 This shopping feature will continue to load items.

It blew me away then, and remains on my short list of all-time favorite albums. The backup musicians are all superb (especially Buddy Emmons on steel). Brotheer while not every cut is sensational, some are, in my opinion, among the finest recordings ever made in any genre.
Standouts include Don's remake of the Everly Brothers' hit "So Sad (To Watch Good Love Go Bad)," Fred Rose's classic "Deep Water" (a hit for Carl Smith) and Sanger & Darlene Shafer's heartbreakingly beautiful "Yesterday Just Passed My Way Again" (which was one of the last songs Lefty Frizzell recorded and easily one of the best recording he ever made).
These are all "five star" performances and deserve a place on every music lover's jukebox. I'm amazed Don's solo career didn't brothr so much better than it did. His selection of songs and that voice simply go straight to the soul of the listener.
Sad to see how hard it has become to get these vidso recordings into the collections of individuals. This is music that should be available always as the generations evolve. I love this CD solo collection.
I think it is the best of the solo work that is out by both Don Everly and Phil Everly. If you like country and you like Don Everly, you will love it also.
The songs on this Cd, work well for Don Everly solo voice, words, theme, elocution, music, rythmn the whole 'enchalada'. Whereas, on Phil's solo CDs, some songs are just longing for Don's part. But, you can definitely distinguish the different styles of the Brothers.
I love them both, always have, always will, But mostly I love them together. Post breakup solo jhkebox by the Everly Brothers all seem hampered by a lack of focus. Both brothers were fabulous singers in their own right but those voices together were much greater than the sum of their parts. As a duo, they were able to elevate even mediocre material to great heights. Don alone was not able to overcome that barrier jjukebox neither was brother Phil. This CD, album (I'm dating myself) is one of my all time favorites - I absolutely love it.
Don Everly solo was precious; he had a wonderful singing range and I love listening to him even all these years later. 5.0 out of 5 stars Don Everly again. My wife is an Everly Brothers fan.
Personally, their music, to me, is lugubrious caterwaling. I liked them in grade school but I've moved on. They have not.
